Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pasit Lorterapong, PMP®, is a Thai academic and senior government official who bridges advanced project management methodologies with high-level science, technology, and innovation (STI) governance. He holds a Ph.D. in Project Management from Concordia University and is recognized for his pioneering research applying Fuzzy Set Theory to resource-constrained scheduling and risk evaluation. Dedicated to standardizing national frameworks, he served as the Chief Editor for the official Thai translations of the PMBOK® Guide (5th and 6th Editions) and initiated the specialized MBA program in Project Management during his tenure as Dean of the Graduate School of Management and Innovation at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. Leveraging his background in systems engineering and project management, Dr. Lorterapong served as an Executive Advisor to the Synchrotron Light Research Institute (SLRI), providing critical oversight for complex scientific facility projects. His extensive public administration career includes serving as the Secretary General of the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP), Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), and Senior Advisor for the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO).
